I'm Tyler, a 16 -year-old aspiring photographer from
a small town in Texas. I developed an interest in portrait photography when I started reading different style magazines and some newspapers. I would see the evocative, colorful, visually pleasing campaign ads splashed across the pages of GQ or Vogue or the New York Times , and be drawn to them. After looking through hundreds and hundreds of magazines and viewing thousands of images on the internet, I decided to try my hand at portrait photography. Eighteen months have passed and here I am. I am learning more and more each day, striving and yearning to learn as much as I can about how to capture the image that pleases one's eye and jumpstarts one's mind, and to think of a story that my images might portray. I try to capture an individual's strengths and definitive characteristics through my photography, and can only hope to learn more.
